There are a multitude of restaurants and take-aways close by (all within a 3 km radius of the Guesthouse).

Westmead and Pinetown can be easily accessed by Stockville Road, avoiding the congested M13 and N3 highways.

ACCOMMODATION:

The suites are accommodated on the ground and first floor which is accessed by a magnificent suspended, antique staircase.

SUITES:

This grand old home offers seven luxurious, double volume suites fully air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms and adjoining dressing rooms. Bathrooms each have a bath, shower hand basin and toilet.

Churchill Suite

Located on the first floor.

Churchill Suite is a spacious  50 sqm unit with a grand four poster dark wood bed.

The super king extra length and extra depth mattresses are five star pillow-top quality.

Twin bathrooms are located behind the bed section each with a toilet and handbasin. The “walk through ” shower is accessible from both sides with a large corner bath in the one bathroom.

Above the bathrooms, the attic is accessible by a flight of stairs and is ideal for one or two  children.

There is an annex room leading off the main bedroom which shares a bathroom with the suite.

This cluster of rooms is ideal for a family of four or 6.

It leads onto a large balcony overlooking Durban with an outdoor seating space .

There is a hairdryer tea and coffee making facilities,  air-conditioning and  a smart, large  flat-screen TV with full DSTV premium package and Netflix

Winston Suite 

Leads directly to a veranda with outdoor seating. Located on the first floor.

The bed is a super- king (extra length and depth) sprung 5 star mattress.

On request, it may be split into two single extra length beds.

There is a mezzanine level above the bathroom accessible by a flight of stairs, the area has a double bunk, dorma window and bedside table.  The bunk has full size sprung mattresses. 

There is a hairdryer, mini-safe, and tea/coffee making facilities.

This suite has a flat-screen TV with a full DSTV PREMIUM package.

Clementine Suite

This suite is double volume, fully air-conditioned with an en-suite bathroom and dressing room. Located on the first floor.

The bed is a super- king (extra length and depth) sprung 5 star mattress.

On request, it may be split into two single extra length beds.

There is a mezzanine level above the bathroom accessible by a flight of stairs, the area has a two single beds a  dorma window and bedside table. 

There is a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities, a seating area and desk, ideal for catching up on admin.

This suite has a large flat-screen TV with a full DSTV PREMIUM package.

Stepping out of the room, and across a passage, there is access to the wrap around veranda with outdoor seating.

Spencer Suite

This suite is double volume, fully air-conditioned with an en-suite bathroom and dressing room. Located on the first floor. 

The bed is a super- king (extra length and depth) sprung 5 star mattress.

There is a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities, a seating area and desk, ideal for catching up on admin.

The seating area is a “couch sleeper” which can be setup for a child.

This suite has a large flat-screen TV with a full DSTV PREMIUM package.

A few steps down the  passage, there is access to the wrap around veranda with outdoor seating.

Randolph Room

This room has direct access to the balcony.  Located on the first floor.

It is fully air-conditioned with a flat screen TV and the BASIC DSTV PACKAGE.

Randolph has a double bed, ideal for a single person or a couple.

There is a step across the passage to the private bathroom with a beautiful ball and claw antique bath, glass ceiling and full size shower, bidet and hand-basin.

Blenheim Suite

Rufus is located directly off the foyer area. Located on the ground floor.

The entrance door is a glass sliding door with a voil and curtain.

Although the room is small it has a lovely brass queen size bed, antique cupboard and single chair.

Rufus is air-conditioned with a large screen tv, DSTV  FULL PACKAGE.

The en-suite bathroom has a large shower, hand basin and toilet.

Windsor Suite

This suite is fully air-conditioned with an en-suite bathroom and dressing room. Located on the ground floor.

The bed is a super- king.

On request, it may be split into two single extra length beds.

There is an annex room that has a bunk bed.

This suite has a large flat-screen TV with a full DSTV PREMIUM package.

Stepping out of the room, there is access to the wrap around veranda with outdoor seating.

Meals

Breakfast is included in the price of the accommodation and served between 6:30 am and 8:30 am.

A selection of fruit, yoghurt and muesli is set out daily on the buffet.

Menus are available in the flip folder in your room.  Kindly select the meal options you require and send via WhatsApp so that your hot English breakfast is ready timeously.

PARKING

Churchill House has secure off-road parking.

PETS

We have three large dogs, one small dog and 2 cats.

Our pets are aware of the fact that the Guest-house areas are “out of bounds” but sometimes they simply can’t resist the temptation of popping over to say “Hi”.

If you are not pet friendly, please let us know and we will make absolutely sure that they don’t visit.
