There’s a wide choice of restaurants and takeaways nearby, all within a 3 km radius of the guesthouse.

Visiting for work? Westmead and Pinetown are easily accessible via Stockville Road, allowing you to avoid the congested M13 and N3 highways. With the M13 just 1.2 km away, Churchill House is a convenient base for business travel around Hillcrest and the Upper Highway area.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Make yourself at home in our beautifully appointed common areas, including a cosy lounge, a bright breakfast room and peaceful outdoor seating areas where you can relax and enjoy the surrounding tranquillity.

For added convenience, the breakfast room has a shared double-door fridge/freezer for your personal food and beverages, a microwave, two-plate stove, sink and tea-and-coffee station. Families are welcome to use the gas braai, with cutlery and crockery readily available in the breakfast room.

Every suite is equipped with air-conditioning for heating and cooling, high-speed Wi-Fi and a mini-bar fridge. Spacious rooms and generous beds give you room to settle in, whether you’re travelling for business or leisure.

The property has solar power to keep electricity available during load shedding or unexpected outages, while water storage tanks help maintain a consistent water supply throughout your stay.

Churchill House is tucked away at the end of a quiet panhandle, with secure off-road parking offering privacy and convenient access. Winston Park is known for its neighbourhood security measures, and guests can enjoy nearby parks, walking trails and cycling routes during their stay.

Churchill House is located at the end of a quiet panhandle, with the house not visible from the road. There is sufficient secure off-road parking for the vehicles expected during guest stays, whether you’re visiting for a business trip or a getaway.

SECURITY

Welcome to Winston Park, a suburb with several neighbourhood security measures in place.

These include number plate detection, camera systems and security coverage at entrances to the suburb and within the neighbourhood itself. Churchill Road also has additional foot and vehicle patrols.

For guests who enjoy some fresh air, the suburb has parks and a cycling and running track offering kilometres of space to explore, with these security measures providing added reassurance.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

We look forward to welcoming our guests between 2 pm and 6 pm daily.

Should you require a later check in, please communicate this with us well in advance and we will furnish you with “self-check” information.

Our check-out time is 10 am.

If you need to stay later, or wish to leave your luggage at the Guesthouse, please let us know and if possible, we would love to oblige.

BREAKFAST

Our prices are inclusive of a simple breakfast.

The breakfast selection menu is available in each room. Please complete the form and return it to our manageress in the evening so we can have your meal hot and ready at your requested time between 7 am and 9 am.

Please notify us in advance of any dietary requirements.

Heading out early for work or travel? A packed breakfast is available on request, so let us know beforehand and we’ll arrange it with you.
